Divided We Speak
Virtual Sketches of February

These sketches in the Month of February mostly dealt with the actual "Divided We Stand" poster. I tried to recreate the poster to look three dimensional.
While these two images, I played with the sheet music Mirek wrote for "Divided". I placed dynamic texture maps onto various curved surfaces to create a different look with each image.

Various experiments were conducted in trying to find a good blend of symbolism with the texture maps. Digital graffiti was composited with an image of Berlin Wall to create a different effect.

Images within the monitors form a relationship with the background image. Juxtaposition of these elements were vital to the overall image. The hand with stretched out fingers connects to each monitor, while the the streams created by the imaged processed graphic (far left image) also has a similar effect.
