Where and when:  The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 to 6:40pm. The first hour will be lecture material followed by a break and then a lab. The lecture portion of the class will be held in the Passion Pit.  The Passion Pit is located through red double doors on your left as you approach the computer lab at 3320 AAB.  The lab portion of the class will be held in the newSpace lab, located at 3330 AAB.

Prerequisites: One semester of AD408 Beginning or previous C programming and computer graphics experience is required to take this course.

Grading: There will be an assignment assigned almost every week.  The assignment will routinely be due at the beginning of class in one week.  Assignments, taken together, will constitute 40% of your grade.  There will be a final project worth 40% of your grade.

Attendance: Due to the importance of class lectures, participation and attendance will contribute 20% of your final grade.  Unexcused absences will not be tolerated and multiple excused absences will also affect your grade.  Three (3) unexcused absences will lower your final grade by one letter grade regardless of your performance on assignments or projects.  It is the responsibility of the student to make up for missed lectures, as class time will not be spent covering material missed.

Lab: The newSpace computer lab should remain locked and secure when not in use.  Art and Design students should have their ID card authorized for access to the AAB building already.  Access to the newSpace computer lab will only be allowed when the lab is staffed by a teacher or teaching assistant.  Lab hours will be posted at a later date.
