12.20.2000 Empirical studies Spring 2000, version 1 Tom's brief description of the two "threads" we'll pursue during the Spring. One thread focuses on refining the science inquiry assessment (and maybe making some claims about inquiry learning); the other is about math learning and the hypothesis that "walking the walk" makes a difference in what the kids learn.
