the Mad Carrie

the madCarrie is this bigAss flying fortress which you fight against. you fly along its length until you reach an entrance which leads you inside towards the ships main reactor which you then - wait, i shouldnt spoil the suprise - oh... what the hell. you blow it up.

the topside of the outer hull on the madCarrie. you fly along the length of the ship avoiding enemy fighters and gunfire until reaching a mini-boss and the entrance to the inner regions of the fortress.

the madCarrie's reactor core. that thing getting shot at is the reactor. it spins and whips electrical discharges at you while you have to lock onto each shield piece and destroy them until you have a clear shot at the inner core which will trigger the destruction of the ship when it is blown up.



an unfortunately blurry image, this is a stretch of pipes and conduits through which you escape from the reactor core to the exit of the carrie. it is one of my favorite parts of this level.
