The Advanced Technology Center at the University of Missouri, and the English Department and the Electronic Visualization Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) host the MOBE reception. The highlight of the reception was the tour of Virtual Harlem in two CAVEs at the Electronic Visualization Laboratory at UIC.

	The event was held at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Engineering Research Facilities building which also houses the CAVE.

	The stereoscopic liquid crystal VR glasses allow the audience to see the images in true 3D.
	Another student volunteer Shalini Venkataraman, navigates through Virtual Harlem with a 3D wand, while the audience looks on.
