- 32-node cluster
- Each node is a 64bit architecture with:
- 2 AMD Opteron processors (2Ghz, Model 246)
- 4GB of DDR 400Mhz RAM
- 1.5TB of shared local storage over parallel filesystem (PVFS) [8x250GB on a RAID5 configuration] and 250GB of local storage
- 3 gigabit network interfaces: on-board gigabit, single-mode fiber gigabit, multi-mode fiber gigabit
- Nvidia Quadro3000 AGP graphics card
- Each node drives 2 LCD panels at 1600x1200 pixels each
