The Honors College named EVL REU Elisa Green as the recipient of the 2003 John Curtis Johnson Award.

Each year at Honors Day the John Curtis Johnson Award is presented to an Honor College student for outstanding achievement in the Honors College core courses. Student nominees must contribute a significant amount of time, effort and creativity to one or more Honors core courses during the academic year. In addition the students must be be in excellent academic standing and enrolled in the Honors College during the academic year in which the award is received.
