This years SC04 Conference, Pittsburgh, PA November 6 – 12 will include SC Global, which consists of a series of sessions designed to showcase a broad range of Access Grid technology applications that range from the scientific to the artistic.

Two sessions will include EVL demonstrations on-site at SC Global, which will also be hosted live from EVL. The Virtual Reality SC Global session will include a demonstration of how EVL’s ImmersaView was integrated into the Access Grid; broadcast time scheduled at EVL, Tuesday, November 9, 3:20-4:00 PM CST. Another VR session (2:30-3:20 PM CST) originates from Purdue and will showcase how the VRJuggler toolkit can be integrated into the Access Grid to provide a collaborative space. Both VR sessions will rely on GeoWall technology, developed at EVL.

Raj Singh’s collaborative TeraVision software used in conjunction with the Access Grid will be broadcast from Pittsburgh to EVL and other remote sites Thursday, November 11, 10:30-11:00 AM CST.
