San Francisco based new media artist and writer Shirley Shor’s work involves real-time computer generated environments that challenge our time and space perception. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Recent shows include the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago, Singapore Art Museum, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts San Francisco, and Ars Electronica, Linz. Shirley received the 2003 Bay Area Murphy Award in Fine Arts. Shirley got her BA in Art History and Philosophy from the Tel-Aviv University, and is currently an MFA candidate at the Conceptual Information Art in the San Francisco State University.

"The piece is about spaces construction. The time component activates and transforms these spaces by challenging our perception of boundaries - constantly shifting the boundaries causes space to become temporal. In this real-time animation I strived to create a notion of liquid architecture. The environment is generated by code that creates an on going changeable grid, and unstable structure in motion that the viewer can walk through." – Shirley Shor
