Marek Czernuszenko presented a research paper: "Line of Sight Method for Tracker Calibration in Projection-Based VR Systems", documenting the procedure which utilizes physical targets coupled to the VR device/system. The paper was co-authored by Tom DeFanti and Dan Sandin.

Dave Pape, who is currently responsible for the core CAVE software at EVL, was on the "Working in the CAVE Environment" panel with Carolina Cruz-Neira, Rachael B. Brady, R. Bowen Loftin, and William R. Sherman. The panel was moderated by Umesh Thakkar.
