EVL congratulates PhD student, Xun Luo on being awarded the University's Provost Award for Graduate Research in the spring 2006 competition. In being chosen for the award, Xun was cited as exceptional in his program of study, which focuses upon extending computation scalability to mobile devices and wearable systems.

Xun is the first graduate student recipient of this honor in the Computer Science Department since the creation of the award.
