The Electronic Visualization Laboratory hosts student members of the Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) during the College of Engineering (COE) open house and lab tours on Wednesday 11/28/2007. The event is part of COE's commitment of active recruitment and outreach to diverse communities.

EVL researchers and staff will provide a broad overview of EVL's current advanced visualization technologies and research activities, in an effort to peak greater interest in opportunities and careers in the computer science discipline. The SHPE group of visitors is expected to exceed 80 participants. SHPE is The Source for Quality Hispanic Engineers and Technical Talent.
