UICNews features EVL's participation in the upcoming Science Chicago's "Science Saturdays" series of events showcasing cutting edge technology and research to the public. Scheduled for July 18th, the "Life's a Lab" event will showcase the College of Pharmacy's Dorothy Bradley Atkins Medicinal Plant Garden in a hour-long garden tour during the “Plants, Power, Health” event. The tour will conclude with a visit to the biocontainment lab.
Immediately following, "Imagining the Future" will feature a tour of EVL facilities with demos of cutting-edge research projects and advanced visualization technologies to be held noon to 1:30 p.m.
