EVL Collaborator NCDM Awarded NSF Advanced Networking Infrastructure Grant

EVL collaborators at the National Center for Data Mining (NCDM) have been awarded $1.22 million by the National Science Foundation towards continued development of UIC's cyberinfrastructure in support of advanced networking and high performance computing research and applications. "The Incus Facility: An Integrated UIC Cyberinfrastructure for High-Performance Computing and Networking" will be directed by PI Grossman with research contributions from EVL (co-PI Jason Leigh) and other colleagues from the Copmputer Science Department and Academic Computing and Communications Center. The award is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).
