Sudden Loss, a large format digital media display piece created by EVL MFA alumnus (2011) JD Pirtle, is showcased at the Hyde Park Art Center's Jackman Goldwasser Catwalk Gallery - May 27th through June 2nd, 2011. The piece written in Processing evolves over a 7 hour period, changing hourly. Viewers can be immersed in the work from within the Gallery during daylight hours, and from the city streets at dark (8PM).
