LambdaVision is a 55-panel vertical display system with a combined resolution of 105 million pixels and gigabit-speed networking interfaces to enable distance collaboration. Users can juxtapose ultra-high-resolution digital imagery, such as animations, visualizations and HD videoconferencing, in real-time, from remote servers or supercomputers.
LambdaVision is compatible with a variety of handheld interface devices and supports remote desktop access to augment local collaborative sessions.
LambdaVision runs SAGE middleware to stream and manage multiple high-bandwidth, high-resolution applications in a Windows-like environment. SAGE has also been deployed to a global community of scientists who use scalable tiled displays connected to 10Gigabit networks.
SAGE’s Visualcasting feature supports shared collaboration sessions over distance by replicating the data streams over high-speed networks. All participants see and interact with the data in real-time, and at an unprecedented resolution.
LambdaVision is a next-generation scientific instrument, with the computing power and resolution to function as a high-powered lens to view, manage and interact with ultra-high-resolution imagery.
