The concept of gaze and visual culture studies is one that deals with how the audience views the presented object. The gaze characterizes and displays the relationships between subjects by looking. The Viewer consists of a virtual viewer situated in front of the real viewer, and explores the visual and comprehensive strategies of artwork. It presents an interactive device that establishes a relation of visual communication with the audience, showing how the viewer acts in relation to the art piece. The project tries to invert the usual viewer / artwork relation being in this case the piece that watches the audience, making them to become aware of their own behavior. Consequently, a mirror effect is produced by the viewer, that finds an observing site when he gets closer to see the artwork displayed on the exhibition space. Thus a loop relation is created.
