This computer animation piece is a story of life, death, transformation and regeneration. An imprisoned woman gazes through the window of her cell at a surreal landscape filled with gently undulating life forms. Through a mysterious process, she uses her powers to command a cat creature to go out into the landscape and bring her the "flower" of a plant, which looks like an eyeball with legs. Once she has the flower inside her cell, it regenerates into a new plant, that grows a new flower to keep the woman company in her cell.
The models were created in Softimage and Lowman's Interactive Object Transformation Animator. It was animated and rendered in Softimage. The soundtrack was written and performed by Pamela Bublitz and recorded by Brian Jensen at Streeterville Studios Inc. in Chicago.
