VR Research
Research Artist, Electroniic Visualization Laboratory, University of Illinois at Chicago 1995 -- present; 

   Work on interdisciplinary teams to interface with small and mid-sized businesses to encourage the  
   use of virtual reality technology in the areas of art, design and manufacturing. Projects include:  

  • CAVE art experiences using Performer, audio controlled graphics, live video. networking
  • ImmersaGrams research to create desktop PHSColograms with (art)n Laboratory
  • Developing and testing CAVE design software for artists and non-programmers
  • EVL student coordinator for "Virtual Spaces" exhibition in conjunction with ISEA '97
  • EVL software leader for Photoshop, StudioPaint, Alias, "Oort Cloud Continuum"
  • VRML application with NCSA for Caterpillar featuring a 3D front loader
  • EVL student volunteer co-coordinator for SuperComputing '95, San Diego
