waterlogged
a video installation by joseph a. insley
Similar to the other piece in this series, waterlogged,
at some level, deals with struggle. It deals not only with the obvious
external struggles of the individuals portrayed, but also reflects the
inner struggles that each of them, and us, ultimately deals with in one
way or another.
waterlogged will be displayed as a video installation.
It will consist of a single projection onto the floor, such that the viewer
will have to look down at it, emulating the circumstances under which
the footage was originally taken.
