The following is work that i did as an undergrad at Syracuse University. Their, School of Art and Design's Computer Graphics Departmentis where i did most of the work that you'll see here,
- HARDWARE: MACINTOSH PowerMac 7100/66 (Viva la APPLE!)
- SOFTWARE: SPECULAR INFINI-D 2.5 (Before they went spline-based...)
- SOFTWARE: PERSISTENCE OF VISION RAYTRACING (POV RAY for short)
- SOFTWARE: ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 3.0 (I say canonize this company)

| Originally done as a stereo image piece. This is the left side...or is it the right side? I don't remember. there's not really that much of a difference, but it's enough to produce 3 dimensional object(s) when viewed through a polarized lens (stereo glasses). It was later converted into an animation that was set to Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee. |

This was done using POV RAY, which is short for Persistence of Vision Raytracing. It's a fairly decent renderer. Unfortunately, it deals with writing code, which I wasn't too keen on doing back then. I'm hoping that I can find the time to get back into experimenting with this really fun piece of freeware. |

Created in the spring of 1995, it was an attempt at experimenting with reflections and transparencies. I find that I like the look and over all design of it, |

My first attempt at a series piece that, of course, had a common theme. I based it on my affection for music (the trumpet in particular) and its abilities to create interesting sounds. Each piece represents a style that I've attempted (and failed on occasion), and have respect for. Music, like the visual arts, is about passion for your work. The synthesis of years of struggle, to reach a goal that is harmony (or discord), but a goal that IS realized. | ||
