Immersadesk(TM) Set-Up

Projector Installation:

Remove the padded cover from the IDesk.

Remove the lower front cover of the IDesk to expose the projector mounting assembly.

Temporarily store the IDesk lower front cover on top of the IDesk.

Remove the two (2) projector mount cross pieces by sliding them towards the front of the IDesk (screen side).

Place the Marquee (still in it's box) upside down, centered in front of the IDesk.

Fold and place the padded cover between the rear of the projector and the front of the IDesk.

Remove the bottom of the shipping container (including pallet).

Lift off the sides of the box.

Orient the projector (still in it's foam box lid) lenses away from the IDesk.

Remove the legs of the projector, bolt the cross members of the projector mount to the projector by placing the furnished bolts in place of the legs. Position mounting angles as per FIGURE 1, page 2.

Flip the projector into it's upright position while cushioning it's back on the padded cover. (The projector will now be facing into the IDesk.)

Slide the projector towards the IDesk until the upper front rollers of the cross-member can be placed on the black aluminum rails.

Lift the back of the projector and roll it until the rear cross-mount sliders (ways) can be slid onto the aluminum rails. Do not push the projector further at this time.

Open the lower door on the rear of the IDesk, this will expose the front of the projector.

Plug the projector in and remove the lens covers and the lid covering the lenses. (Store these on top of the lower rear door)

Mount and wire the stereo IR emitters.

CAUTION: Make sure that no wires are on top of the lower rear wooden cross-member as they will be crushed by the mirror box.

Slide the projector in until it strikes the rear lower wooden cross-member. (The projector is now in its operational position.)

ImmersaDesk Preparation:

Open the upper rear door and deploy the mirror box.

Close the upper rear door to counterweight the mirror box.

Install RGB cabling to the projector.

Install the stereo sync to the emitters.

Replace the lower front cover.

If this IDesk is furnished with a SpacePad, snap the Screen Cover/Antenna Pouch into position.

Unlatch the screen, swing to the open position and relatch.

The IDesk is now prepared for a complete projector alignment. Access the projector by climbing into the IDesk and sitting upon either chassis box. (Installer will have to be agile enough to move from one side to another.)

CAUTION: Do not scratch or touch either the mirror or screen. Skin oils transferred to should be interpreted as damage. There are no recommended cleaning or repairing procedures at this time.Take special care while getting in and out of the IDesk. (Please, remove tools protruding from pockets).
