An Implementation of Sort-Last Volume Rendering over an Optical Network Backplane

This is the Sort-last volume rendering system based on the Photonic Computing Environment (PCE). It creates the tree-structured computing pipeline over the cluster to realize the Sort-last volume rendering. The tree structure can be configured by the configuration file in which you specify the parent node and child nodes for each node. You can overwrite the rendering part and composition part to implement other rendering and composition algorithms.
