SVC is to offer high-resolution visualization on multiparty collaborative environments. It treats with a co-ordination technique to employ large-scale high-resolution display system and to display multiple high-quality videos effectively on systems with limited resources. This system has decomposable decoding and display structure based on high-performance local area network.

The focus of this work is to support high-quality conferencing to the SAGE. The current version of SVC can decode MPEG-2 TS from HD-camcorder via IEEE 1394 interface. Future work adding DV and MPEG audio decoder remains.
