Unreality Loosely based on stories of youth, Unreality offers the opportunity to journey through passageways to lands of fiction. The adventure begins as the user is invited to explore a seemingly realistic residence. Closets, rooms, doorways and even fountains magically open passages to worlds only imaginable in real life. Imagine a fantasy world of softly flowing organic waves, where no forseeable solid ground is existent. Vaporlike clouds of fuscia swirl vividly around petals of dainty floating abstract bubbles. Pulsating, abstract liquid rhythms create a mesmerizing meditation of organic forms. The user can fly from one form to the next or drop out of existence as he/she returns to the comfort of the real world residence. Upon returning, however, the user will soon discover, much to his/her dismay or delight, that the real world residence has somehow changed. Much as experiences in real life propogate shifts in paradigm, each experience in the fantasy world will also alter, in some manner, the perceptual reality of the user. As the user continually returns to the fantasy world, the lines between reality and fantasy will become more and more blurred. Thus, creating a state of unreality. To add to the confusion or clarity of the experience, simultaneous exploration of the environments will be available from remote sites. This additional experience will enhance the adventure through the transformation of other real users into fantasy characters, signifying not only change in perception, but also change in character. It will also exhibit the simultaneous trek of individuals thorough reality, each on their own unique path, but at specific moments in time sharing a vision of reality. Margaret Watson
