CAVEActors: A Human Actor Library For The CAVETM
Darren R. Thompson
VI. Conclusion
I have attempted
to create a library for CAVETM programmers to use to include
virtual human actors into their applications. This goal has been
met. Not only has my goal been met, but I'm achieving a higher frame
rate than I expected. This is important since programmers will most
likely be using the actors in their applications (which can be complex)
and they will not want to use the library if their frame rate drops too
low. Virtual actors are important in the CAVETM since
they provide another interface and facilitate collaborative CAVETM
to CAVETM applications when representing a person on either
end.
