Midterm Project
Due: Wednesday, October 22
Objective:
Create a web site. The main focus should be on the site content, design, artistic qualities, as well as on the programming and implementation in HTML and CSS. Site design should have a professional look and feel. The site information and content must be related to the site concept and well organized. Strive for beautiful, impressive, and compelling design, meaningful effective navigation, flawless functionality and professional implementation.
Your website should demonstrate the following:
- Good site organization (Directory structure and organization, effective naming convention of files and folders, and organization of associated files)
- Effective design (composition, balance, contrast, style)

Principles of effective navigation (make navigation easy)
- Hierarchal organization of information
- Professional usage of color, graphics, and fonts on your pages
- Flawless functionality (cross platform, different browsers, different browser versions testing)
Create a folder for your site and sub folder for your images.
Name your home page "index.html".
All site elements must be kept in the same folder.

Publication (use FTP program to transfer your site to your UIC account and submit both URL and your site folder with files for the midterm project grade)
