This two-point system uses the square inwhich it is drawn as its unit of measure. The top edge of the square is also the horizon line. Again, the order of construction is enlightening. Within the square, the oragnge lines cross at the center as they go from corner to corner. Then the first horizontal line is placed through the center, connecting both sides. From those two side points, the next diagonal lines are drawn to the upper corners, then the next horizontal line is set, then the next diagonals, etc.
Again, only the upper, central area of this gird describes our familiar recessional space, our "walk around" space of everyday experience.
