The red vertical line carries the units of measure in this two-point perspective system.

Normally, this unit of measure line is set parallel to the horizon line(as in the previous two-point system.) By setting it perpendicular to the horizon, a new space grid is possible.

In a sense, it reverses the usual spacial relationships. The top center grid unit is the largest in this field, while the botton center unit is smallest. If this field is read as a flat plan, then objects of the same size would appear larger as they are placed to the back or to one side or the other.
Top center, near or on the horizon, would the space closest to the viewer.
