EVL research assistant JD Pirtle is joined by fellow UIC New Media Arts (NMA) graduate candidates in a public display of digital works, “Screenology” at the Hyde Park Art Center, Jackman Goldwasser Catwalk Gallery, March 23 through mid-June, 2011. Works featured, range from time-based video to software art created as part of the NMA seminar on digital media screens and public art led by Daniel Sauter using EVL’s CyberCommons.
The resulting new public digital work will be presented on the Hyde Park Art Center’s large-scale digital projection façade - the only one in the U.S. dedicated to contemporary art.
