The user will be told that the experiment is still in the initial phase, introduced to the wand, shown how to navigate. Then the various buttons will be explained, very seriously one by one.

Just as the last button is being explained, there will be a burst of static, and a hubbub from the control room. The voice-over will tell the user to push the button. As he does so there will be a shout:-
"NO NOT THAT BUTTON."

The user is plunged into darkness, then into a environment that resembles the intestines moving and digesting. The user starts to orient himself. The user will follow fleeting sounds and images that cross plunge through the environment - use the navigation buttton to move.

A sudden sounds will make him turn - and as he turns he will be confronted by a Being made up of membranous tendrils and staring eyes, right up close to him. He dodges away, the Thing bobs and dances with him, and purrs right up close in his ear.
"Oooh - now I can really feel you. Can you feel me? Hallo? Hallo?"

At this point - technology willing - the user realises that the Thing is attached to him. Tendrils pass through and arounf his body. The Thing's eyes are attached to his back, and float around to look at him. The Thing has bonded with him.
