This is pretty much close to what I would call a good background exept for the repetition which I find is a bit to obvious. You can avoid this effect by using pictures that are much more uniform and do have "connecting patterns" at the borders as the shown.
By the way. Do you already know about how to use pictures ? Or should we fix the text colors first?
