The Stone Age Romeos began palying in 1991. They played a mixture of classic and alternative rock reflecting the local Minneapolis music scene. Influenced by bands like The Gear Daddies, and Trip Shakespeare, they played gigs at various school talent shows, and two summer camps. In the end of 1992, they recorded a tape of original songs for a class project. The group disbanded at the end of that summer as the members went off to college.
