Have You Tried Turning It Off and On Again
Group: Matthew Mohaupt, Scott Hong, MaryJo Santos
The main idea of the game is trying to do IT work during a blackout,
where players will have to solve IT hardware and software related
issues for one work week, gain money to upgrade supplies and try to
earn as much money as possible by the end of the week. Though
unfortunately the power is shaky and rolling blackouts occur
regularly and any software related issues cannot be solved when the
power goes out. It is be designed to work for the platform: x86_64
Microsoft Windows 10 and above.
Scientist Escapes Mirror Dimension
Group: Alex Cruz, Junaid Ali, Syed Ali
The player is a Scientist who has been teleported to an alternate
dimension. This is a single player game in which you are trying to
escape the alternate dimension and along the way you are fighting
bosses and discovering artifacts to learn more about the Scientists
past.
Bird's Eye
Group: Ember Vaingloria, Afeef Akhta, Adnan Mahmoud
Bird's Eye is a battlefield scavenging score attack game starring a
vulture in the midst of a war between humans. The primary goal of
gameplay is to hide from sight and manipulate soldier AI into
causing as many deaths as possible, and then eating those corpses to
increase your score.
Striped Nuisance
Group: Hector Salto, Connor West, Red Reyes
A single-player capture and escape game where you will play as a
stray cat who has to break into a home to steal things to live. You
will try to be stealthy, while navigating through obstacles to get
what you need to survive and avoid getting caught.
Lab Simulator
Group: Elmerson Tedja, JoonYoung Ma, Dylan Bolanos
A fun and non-competitve single-player game where the player is an
aspiring chemist with a questionable degree performing experiments
to make specific chemicals, using several experiments.
Dragon Boat Racing
Group: Xuchen(Frank) Wang, Yuqing Wu, Sai Samith reddy sudini
Dragon Boat Racing is a rhythm-based racing game that combines the
excitement of racing with the precision of rhythm gameplay. Players
paddle their dragon boats in sync with a rhythm track to maintain
speed and avoid obstacles like logs and whirlpools. The game is
designed for single-player mode, where players race against AI
opponents on a dynamic river track.
The Lost Isle
Group: Musa Elqaq, Simran Batra, Karthik Ragi
A single-player escape and explore game where the player is part of
a scientific crew studying a black hole when an asteroid impact
sends you ship spiraling towards the hole. Ina desperate attempt to
escape you use burn all of your fuel and crash onto a somehow stable
rock floating near the event horizon. Stranded, with no power and
limited supplies, you explore this anomaly, ancient looking with
abandoned structures that suggest a forgotten civilization, while a
creeping feeling of being watched grows stronger.
Escape the UIC Tunnels
Group: Whitney Le, Stephen Harayo, Irbi Haxhillari
A single-player escape and exploration game where the player is a
UIC Student traveling through campus when you realise that your
upcoming midterm is about to begin in a couple of minutes, so you
decide to try to take a shortcut to class by going through the
tunnels. Now you need to travel through the maze of tunnels in order
to reach your destination on time.
Merlin's
Group: Adrian Knight, Daniel Barajas, Eddie Federmeyer
Merlin’s is a co-op frenzy game where you play as a clerk in a magic
supermarket! Chaos such as spills, fires, and shoplifters happen
every day! Tasks like manning registers and the deli are essential!
Make sure to check for potion licenses for Wizards buying potions
and ingredients!
Cat Chaos
Group: Arlette Diaz, Nick Filipov, Diego Bravo
Cat Chaos is a third-person cat simulator where players take on the
role of one of the many mischievous cats with one goal-cause as much
destruction as possible before sunrise, all while avoiding detection
by their sleeping owner.
Into The Shadows
Group: Hieu Cao, Atharv Kokate, Alejandro Bravo
Players must find the cure developed by Scientists to a Zombie
Apocalypse caused by harmful radiation found in Sunlight. Players
must stay in the shadows and avoid direct Sunlight (carries harmful
radiation which can turn the player into a zombie over time). Avoid
/ Kill Zombies. Fighting Zombies alert nearby Zombies (gunfire,
zombie grunts, etc.). Find the cure before turning into a Zombie or
Die Trying.
Shattered Reflection
Group: Miguel Madrigal, Cody Colgren, Hiba Mirza
Shattered-Reflection is a 3D psychological horror game that uses
mirrors as a dual-purpose mechanic - revealing hidden puzzle
elements and creatures but also exposing the protagonist's troubled
past. Designed for PC, the game targets fans of atmospheric horror
and narrative-driven experiences who appreciate innovative mechanics
and intertwined story telling.
Lightburn
Group: Alberto Campuzano, Bill Munkh-Erdene, Semih Kesler
You play as a firefighter navigating a burning urban street,
extinguishing fires, rescuing civilians, and reading newspaper
headlines that reveal laws harmful to incarcerated people. Limited
resources and dynamic hazards force you to prioritize rescue versus
containment. The game concludes with a dialogue-driven epilogue
reflecting on California's harmful policies.
LIGHTS, CAMERA, RUN!
Group: Lora Williams, Nandini Jirobe, Vedant Nandoskar
The player is a rising celebrity racing through a dense city to
audition for multiple top-secret blockbuster films before sunset.
However, paparazzi is swarming the streets, and getting caught on
camera will cost valuable time. You need to find your way to each
audition while also avoiding crossing paths with them.
Hamster Havoc
Group: Kate Panlilio, Habeeb Rehman, Sanjana Balamurugan
Hamster havoc is a first-person CAVE2 VR puzzle platformer game. A
hamster with telekinesis is being kept and experimented on by a mad
scientist and having had enough, the hamster decides to breakout and
rolls around a hamster ball to escape and be free. The hamster uses
their powers to move or destroy objects to platform around a
multi-level room creating a safe path for them to reach the end
destination.
Clone Phantom
Group: Abhinav Sandru, Yurii Koval, Ahmad Talal Alkhars
Play as a young ninja apprentice trapped in a mysterious,
ever-shifting temple. Harness the power of your clones to reveal
hidden paths and illusory bridges. Escape the temple by solving
puzzles and outsmarting each new challenge.
Paranormal Object Countermeasures Bureau
Group: Nathaniel Herrera, Elson Allmuca, Brian Daza
A single-player analog horror game (First Person) catered to horror
fans in Unity3D, the player will navigate through a series of
increasingly terrifying floors of a level, each home to a unique
monster. Each monster will have its own unique way of chasing and
hunting the player such as using in-game audio or visuals, in which
the player will have to utilize various items given and special
interactions in the level to avoid getting killed.
YUME
Group: Sujot Singh, Harsh Kothari, Angel Ramirez
Yume is a fantastical, yet mysterious, adventure/puzzle game based
within the realm of all dreams. As the dreams of the entire world
are put under threat, you play as both the main characters, Sando
and his brother Pheo, across two different yet connected worlds.
Explore the world of dreams with Sando as you look for a way to
restore the dreams of the world, while struggling with Pheo to stop
the nightmares from escaping!
Inkscapade
Group: Aaron Willming, Srinath Bellamkonda, Ethan Ky
Inkscapade is a puzzle platformer game for PC in which the player
can draw on the screen to create platforms of ink, with the goal of
reaching the end of every level. The player has a limited amount of
ink, and therefore can only create a certain number of platforms per
level. You have to manage your ink wisely to smartly clear each
level.
