The unit of measure in this one-point perspective system is controlled
by the circumference of the oval in the rectangle.
As the horizontal and vertical lines move toward the
center, the distance between these lines becomes less, but line thickness
increases. The lines become bars, and occupy space in their own right.
The thickness shows the weave of the construction. It moves inward from
the corners, about to crush the center.
The different colors of the bars pulls at the system, as though wanting
to escape.
As in the preceding image, we can image that we are looking down the
length of the horizon line, because the space in this system of projection
decreases from the four corners down to zero at the vanishing point.
