While this array of colored rectangles set within frames looks very different from the preceding images, the same one-point perspective is used.

This array of frames and rectangles contradicts at very turn, the space that the point prespective system is trying to establish.

In recessional space, like objects appear to decrease in scale has they are moved back in space. But in this image the smallest frame is in front, while the largest is in the back. And they are not nested inside each others' space, which would allow for the smallest to drop back in space.
Rather, the frames seem to be stacked out into our space, in front of, not behind the picture plane.
