i grew up on the south side of chicago, and have lived here my whole life, except for a brief five year period that i spent as a student of art and life in the land of corn that is northern illinois university in dekalb.

while in dekalb, in addition to creating some paintings and photos, i found myself becoming partial to gin & tonics and blatz beer, yet somehow i still managed to escape with a bfa from the electronic media program in may of 1991.

after the glory days of dekalb i returnd to chicago and spent three very long years with a small communication company that i would prefer to keep nameless (which it already is for the most part anyway, not to mention recently bankrupt) creating computer generated videos for corporate america. this ceased being fun shortly after it began being fun. finally, i had had enough, and my good friend the reverend michael papka talked some sense into me.

this brings us to...
