Course Description

Focus on advanced theory and methods for manipulating and visualizing the data of non-physical systems. Concentrates on the transformation of multiple data sources and how the data can be integrated into a single source of information. Emphasis on the advanced study of the latest information visualization techniques developed by the research community. A computer programming background is required. This course is designed to advance students’ knowledge of the current state of the art research in information visualization. Upon completion of this course, the student should have a strong understanding of current topics in information visualization.
