Member of a team awarded a $2.6M grant from the U.S. Department of Energy that is joint between Northern Illinois University (NIU) and the University of Illinois Chicago that includes Professor Johnson and Professor Cavanaugh to support training in computational high energy physics. The grant is a partnership between the Computer Science and Physics department at the University of Illinois Chicago and NIU’s Department of Physics.
