Array of Things

Array of Things node at NIU

The ddiLab at Northern Illinois University was part of the Array of Things project led by Argonne National Laboratory and The University of Chicago. The NIU portion of the project aimed to involve undergraduate students in research and development. The team worked on low-cost hardware systems that shared the goals of the AoT project. The low-cost education-focused systems would collect real-time data from the environment, infrastructure sources, and human activity. Students in the lab produced jupyter notebooks for others to learn how to investigate and explore the output of these systems.
