NEWS 8 December 2003 - Final version of website now has the demo up. See the downloads section. 18 November 2003 - It is over. I'd like to thank Wiktor, as well as Maksim for a job well done. I feel our presentation went well, it wasn't too long, not too short. The class APPEARED to like it, but I'm not positive. We'll be posting the game for download soon, and the source code as the class finishes up. 12 November 2003 - Prototype went well, Unfrozen code has been drastically enhanced: Enemies have better AI, Hands added, The Snake ( dagger ), The Bone Spike, added a 2nd floor to the map implemented new gravity engine, fixed the paper thin bug, switched from db particles, to custom retexturing of objects for a faster and more realistic flame, added the book and ending of the map. Implemented new fsm for animation control for the models, added the madien and the knight. One week deadline is upon us. 15 October 2003 Preparing to freeze code. Near perfected collision Detection. Added ambient sound, Lightning, Sky, redesigned castle. Archer and Darius models in prelim state, Basic "stupid" AI almost in place. Added some pictures to development section under gallery. 05 October 2003 Updated layout and added the Chautauqua 30 September 2003 Collision Detection now implemented, includes fully functional gravity, wall detections, ceiling detections, lightning floor calculations, and terrain following. 29 September 2003 Complete game design document added, gallery updated 27 September 2003 Added link to incomplete game design document 27 September 2003 Wiktor comes back from the dead with a splitting headache. 27 September 2003 Wiktor mysteriously found dead on Max's porch, police baffled, no witnesses. 26 September 2003 Site now operational boooyah! |
