Froggie Battle

This is our first product and probably will be the last. It is a sad news that we gonna have to disassemble the team. However, as we proceed in our career, I am sure more delightfuls news will appear and we all going to shine in our own ways.

This is game is not 100% completed as we were running out of time for the dead line. We planned to do so much and we were only managed to finish this much. ^^

Story Line

Story line??? Go hell with that.
Well, if you insist one, here it is. The evil bugs and butterflies kidnapped a whole bunch of lil baby frogs from the "Frog Family". As time passes, some of those baby frogs managed to escape and the bugs and butterflies try to catch them again. You, the player, is charged with the task to rescue all the escaped baby frogs and ensure their safety all the way back to home. A little incentive for you is that your will be honored the "Froggie Hero" if you behaves bravely during the operation "Froggie Battle".

Game Play

- main character can only move horizontally
- points increase as enemies reach the bottom of the screen
- main character must avoid colliding with the enemies
- collision deducts 1 life from the main character
- player gets 3 lives to begin with
- enemies move from top to bottom
- game ends when player runs out of lives
- game continues for 5 stages
- stage progresses when enough points have been collected

Enemy Type

- one land unit that moves in a straight line (bug)
- one land unit that changes direction randomly (bug)
- one air unit that changes direction randomly (butterfly)
- one air unit that changes direction at any time and always follows the player that is closer to him (butterfly)

Special Items *

- items randomly arrive
- items move from top to bottom
- player must collide with the item to collect
- player can have only one item at a time

Power-Ups *

- Bomb: clears the screen of enemies
- Boots: speed up player's movements. (limited time)
- Invisibility Potion: prevents player from losing life during a collision with an enemy. (limited time)
- Rockets: allows player to shoot enemies (limited amount)
- Nets: slows enemy movements (limited time)
- Health: provides player with an extra life

Power-Downs *

- Sandals: slows player's movements (limited time)
- Beer: makes enemies move faster
- Poison: decreases player's life by one

Note: Features labeled with * is not implemented in the demo.
