The National Science Foundation (NSF) provides UIC's Electronic Visualization Laboratory with significant funding to develop viable, scalable, deployable stereo displays. The NSF also supports development of EVL's visualization and collaboration software to enable scientists to interact with one another and large-scale distributed scientific datasets over high-speed networks. National Science Foundation Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (CAVE) is a registered trademark of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at Chicago. EVL trademarked inventions include: ImmersaDesk, Personal Augmented Reality Immersive System (PARIS), GeoWall, GeoWall2, Personal GeoWall2 (PG2) and LambdaVision. |
