The National Science Foundation (NSF) provides UIC's Electronic Visualization Laboratory with significant funding to develop viable, scalable, deployable stereo displays. The NSF also supports development of EVL's visualization and collaboration software to enable scientists to interact with one another and large-scale distributed scientific datasets over high-speed networks.
