Most of the credit for the success of the shows, in particular since two of the CAVE shows were open in conjunction with gallery hours, were due to the concept of assigning one tour guide for each group that went through the CAVE. On these days, people were instructed to start the tour at the gallery. Tickets for those days also included those instructions. Regardless of the type of tour, a tour guide stayed with the group from the very beginning of the tour to the end where they were brought back to their starting point. This also kept groups from accumulating inside of ERF and posing security problems. The tour guides did a wonderful job and also explained the CAVE to the group so that everyone got fairly individualized attention..
