EVL hosts the Cooperative Association for Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA) and the WIDE consortium (Widely Integrated Distributed Environment) for the eighth CAIDA / WIDE Workshop on July 20 - 21, 2007 (by invitation only).

The event will focus on Internet measurement projects and DNS. It will also cover miscellaneous research and technical topics of mutual interest for CAIDA and WIDE participants.

CAIDA provides tools and analyses towards the engineering and maintenance of a robust, scalable global Internet infrastructure.

WIDE is a consortium of Japanese research organizations and companies working to establish a Widely Integrated Distributed Environment.

WIDE researchers have been collaborating with CAIDA since 1998. Currently, WIDE sponsors CAIDA research activities in IPv6 / IPv4 topology and DNS studies.
