About

The University of Illinois System’s YouTube channel posted the video “Altogether Extraordinary” to promote its “one system, three universities, endless possibilities” in November 2017, as part of the University’s Ignite campaign. The video was created by the U of I President’s Office and features some of the areas of excellence that its three campuses have to offer.

Three segments highlighting the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) briefly feature the Computer Science department’s Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL), which is part of the UIC College of Engineering. The segments show Computer Science PhD graduate student Arthur Nishimoto and undergraduate student Isabel Lindmae in EVL’s CAVE2 Hybrid Reality Environment, navigating through connectome data provided by the UIC Psychiatry department.
