About

“Electronic Immersions”, a group exhibition featuring digital and electronic media was displayed at the ARC and Illinois Art Galleries. The show curated by Jane Stevens and Nancy Bechtol featured a number of works by EVLers.

Included was a tribute to Daniel Sandin as an innovator in the field, and the creator of the Sandin Image Processor (IP). A historic retrospective installation designed and developed by Dana Plepys, Mark McKernin, and Joe Reitzer featured a functioning Image Processor, Bally Arcade, and Datamax UV1. Artists works created with these tools enhanced the installation.

“Video Swirl” an interactive electronic / video installation created by Reitzer, Plepys, Jonas Talandis, and Anna Seeto was also on display as part of the “Electronic Immersions” show at both the ARC and Illinois Art Galleries.

Drew Browning’s and Annette Barbier’s work was also shown.
