Josephine Anstey’s MFA Thesis show, The Thing Growing, takes place March 2000. The Thing Growing is a Virtual Reality Fiction in which the user is one of the main protagonists and interacts with a computer-controlled character. The experience will be presented on a number of virtual reality devices (CAVEs and ImmersaDesks) located at the University of Illinois at Chicago, EVL facilities.
