EVL director Jason Leigh, Computer Science associate professor Andrew Johnson, and EVL associate director Maxine Brown participate in the Great Lakes Consortium for Petascale Computing’s Virtual School of Computational Science and Engineering planning meeting. The goal of the Virtual School is to help prepare the next generation of computational scientists and engineers to exploit high performance computing - especially petascale computing - for scientific discovery and engineering innovation. The initial focus is on graduate and post-graduate education.
