Former EVL student and graduate research assistant Elisa Tardini is recognized as a recipient of the Outstanding Thesis/Dissertation Award from the Graduate College at the University of Illinois at Chicago for her thesis entitled “Recursive deep meta-reinforcement learning for personalized sequential dynamic treatment policies.” This research focuses on a recursive deep meta-reinforcement learning approach to develop a model to prescribe an optimal treatment for patients.
